Remember the story about Dogs and Chocolate and escapees from cages? Yes Queen Bee is a regular Houdini. Ever since the day she let Stinky out of her cage, opened the pantry and the door from the family room to the rest of the house, she and Stinky have been caged together in the basement. But the other day, I had just Queen bee and figured, "Ah let the old dog be out. I'll just put some heavy kitchen chairs in front of the pantry and family room doors and she'll be fine."
See that chair up there in the photo above? There were 2 - TWO - of them in front of the doors. it's not like she's in a tiny room. She has this entire leather sectional sofa to herself... (no she's not allowed on it but the dog hair I find every day tells me she gets up there anyway. She's 10 so I've stopped harrassing her about it)
Apparently, this sectional sofa and view out the slider to the backyard were not enough to entertain Queen Bee for the day. Soooo she moved the chairs, opened the pantry, ate 3 boxes of cake mix (thank goodness Daughter gave up chocolate so the mixes were vanilla) ate a tub of vanilla frosting, then opened the door to the rest of the house and ran around.

Poor girl, she blew her chance to be trusted. lol!
That dog is amazing. really, maybe she was trying to make a cake for you and got distracted?
Dogs. Mine's been wild this week too. Is there a full moon or something? Cake mix and icing... yumm.
I'm so glad he thought to let you know where stuff happened. It's a good thing you had that tape. He should totally be a CSI guy.
Don't you wish you could be a fly on the wall when your pets are home alone? I'd swear our dog has parties while we're gone.
I have a Queen Bee too. Chloe's 7 and still finds her way into trouble. I think they're both lucky they're beautiful!!
Much love from NJ,
Sue

So, even though I don't have dogs but I have 2 boys (6 and 11) I truly feel as if I could almost take this post, change the names and it would work for over here, too!! Strange how things work out like that.
:-D
