No words needed. Get the tissues before you hit play.

Well if you're gonna post a song like that, you could at least update your sidebar with the tidbits about the kids. They're not high school seniors anymore. sari...jus sayin

word verf? rests ... *sigh* what I'd much rather be doing than cleaning, decluttering and packing to move.

I have always loved that song.

I know from a good friend that the parents of twins (and no other kids) have it hardest. It's your first, last and only kids leaving for college all in one fell swoop.

Chin up! Thanksgiving break is 3 months away.

you warned me....and yet here I am sobbing. I've always loved that song (haven't heard it in years) but never really grasp the emotion until now. I know it's hard. Many hugs.

It's Friday night. I refuse to watch anything that might make me cry, but come Monday morning, I'll be all over this. LOL

i remember when i got my first teaching job and had to move from colorado to as-far-south-texas-as-you-can-get for my first teaching job. when i got in the car (which was packed as full as any car could be) i hugged my momma and as i got in the car, her quick intake of breath almost frightened me. she waved me on...told me to get on the road...as i drove away, tears streaming down my face, i looked in the rearview mirror and i will never forget her face.
so, though this will not make you feel any better, please remember that it'll be just as hard on your daughter to walk away.
believe me.
it still is.
{{hugs}} to you.
